The EventProfs Blog Awards were created to help bring awareness to the many great blogs within our small events and meetings community. I was blown away not only by the number of blogs that were nominated, but by the quality of the entrants.
As the rules stated we allowed a maximum of 6 entries in each category. I’m pleased to say that in 3 of the categories we had far more than 6 entrants! As a result, I’d like to introduce you to the pre-judging panel.
Comprised of 5 industry segment experts (plus li’l ‘ol me), they reviewed each of the entrants to determine the top 6 in each category.
…aaand…The results are in! Congratulations to everyone who entered and good luck to all of the nominees. In no particular order…

I'm delighted to hear that the awards are prompting event professionals to discover new blogs 🙂 And congratulations once again to everyone who was nominated!Mike, great suggestion on the podcast category for next year. During the nomination process, we did ask people to recommend categories…but we'll keep that category reserved for next year! Thanks again 🙂

Great Job Lara.Might be an interesting idea to use a crowdsourcing tool like uservoice or crowdsound for the voting in order to get richer feedback than just a click.Swan
