I’m an admitted chocoholic. A chocolate bar is a daily staple in my diet – a dreamy, creamy, decadent staple. The problem is my Mother told me more than once that “a moment on the lips is a lifetime on the hips”. And I’m waiting for that day when my chocolate-eating ways will catch up to me.
Le Whif says worry no more. Why? They’ve create a revolutionary new way of eating chocolate – by breathing it! 200 mg of tiny chocolate powder particles are puffed into the mouth, for all the taste of chocolate in under 1 calorie. Le Whif is available in 4 flavors: mint chocolate, raspberry chocolate, mango chocolate, and plain chocolate.
No doubt this would be a really novel experience at an event. And I could see it doing very well at a fashion event, where being seen with anything other than a cigarette and a luxury water bottle is almost equal to blasphemy. Will it replace my need for chocolate? I think not. I would feel cheated out of the simple delights of unwrapping the package, chewing, tasting textures and even the guilt that ensues.
I think some things are just worth the risk. What do you think?

I’m not sure if smelling chocolate would do the trick for me-it’s like having a craving for greasy french fries and smelling them-all that does is put me on the fast track for junk food!

I used to have a friend who would, instead of asking me to try food, ask to smell it — I guess it’s the same idea? Seems worth a try, though – I’m addicted to chocolate, too!

LOL – I’m up to trying it too. I think once I got a whif of it, I’d simply get a craving to eat some chocolate 🙂
Oh, and one thing I didn’t mention – if you’re not a chocolate fan, the inventors are working on creating le whifs for other types of decadent treats.
