I’m excited about the launch of Toronto’s newest upscale lifestyle magazine, The Know. The following is the press release I was sent day before yesterday.
Introducing Toronto’s Hottest Source for Everything Lifestyle—The Know
(Toronto, On) July 25, 2007 having grown up in the Greater Toronto Area, Paul Scida and Sandro Liburdi were challenged with finding one resource for the best that Toronto had to offer. They wanted a magazine that would showcase the who, what, where and when of Toronto; a magazine that would offer the very best that Toronto, Canada and the world has to offer in fashion, beauty, sports, travel, entertainment, real estate, politics, lifestyle, dining, clubs, events, health, fitness and much more; and, a magazine that would reveal the hidden gems of the city while educating the public about what they need to know, so they would be in The Know. Enter The Know magazine.
As founders and owners of Richmond Day Marketing & Interactive Design, Scida and Liburdi, along with Joey Tomaselli, Peter Scida, and the rest of the team at The Know have been involved in marketing, promotions, design and the fashion industry in Toronto for over 15 years. They live an informed life so they can provide the readers with a bird’s eye view of the movers, shakers, happenings, hottest destinations, sports events, newest technology, health issues, and the serious topics that affect the readers’ lives. The Know will be distributed through direct deliveries, targeted mail-outs, subscriptions, salons, hotels, airlines, spas and fitness centers and more, throughout the GTA, as far west as Oakville, and as north as Richmond Hill.
Launching Wednesday September 19, 2007 at one Maro 135 Liberty St (evite to follow), The Know will be a lifestyle publication for professionals and trendsetters who prefer the finer things in life. It captures the essence of a certain lifestyle, while incorporating informative interviews and thought-provoking articles. It will provide an air of sophistication, while presenting everything with a fresh, edgy approach. The Know will offer the very best Toronto, Canada and the world have to offer in fashion, beauty, sports, travel, entertainment, real estate, politics, lifestyle, dining, clubs, events, health, fitness and much more. The Know will strive to be the source for all things as they relate to their discriminating readers’ lifestyles. Published bi-monthly, The Know will target the upper 20s-early 40 year olds who boast an income of $60,000-$125,000.
