Creativity is a constant process of drawing outside the lines. Erasing conventions, pushing boundaries and reinventing ideas are the challenges that every right-brained practitioner must overcome. Coming up with new and fresh thoughts is an arduous task. So, inspiration plays a critical role in the creative process.
I ask the question: “Where do you go to find inspiration?” all the time when interviewing for my Innovators’ Series. Admittedly not a very original question, but important nonetheless. I’m usually delighted by the diverse and often funny responses. But more and more, people are including blogs as a key tool in their inspiration arsenault.
Major publications are beginning to understand the importance of blogs and the role they play in business and customer persuasion. I was delighted to read through the latest edition of Event Solutions and not only see that they’ve added a section called ‘Gone to the Blogs’, but they even featured little ‘ol ready.2.spark. Now, mind you, the quote they chose from the blog was not the most compelling, but perhaps it may just serve as a launching pad to a greater idea?…
