when skies . are grey

When skies are grey and the weather is minus 30 (with the wind chill), nothing warms the cockles of my heart quite like a Rebecca Thuss photograph. And here I sit, in front of my computer, with a hot mug of cocoa, a cable knit throw around my shoulders and warm booties on my feet, drooling over photo after photo. Visions of sugar plums dance in my head.

Clockwise from top left .
. Take this scintillating petits fours creation. So brilliant…and simple.
. Oh how I would love to attend an event with a cigar tray filled with hand-made, old fashioned confections.
. There’s such a huge trend towards old-school paper decor. And I love the next two images. They would make such a stunning backdrop…
. Nothing says ‘let’s party’ like an eclectic tablescape in vibrant hues.
. And last, but not least…the modern wedding arch? Aaaah.
