Tonight is the public grand opening of Peter Gatien’s highly anticipated nightclub CiRCA. Take a trip through a one-of-a-kind entertainment venue and nightclub in the heart of Toronto’s Entertainment District. This four-story, 55,000 square foot space is an arts, music, entertainment, and fashion event-space that only Peter could create.
Peter, a Canadian native, was kicked out of the US due to tax evasion…but not before he made a major imprint on the New York club scene. You can thank Peter for infamous nightclubs such as: The Limelight, Palladium, Club USA and Tunnel…not to mention his production of the 1993 film “A Bronx Tale”.
His newest project, Circa, “features a unique collection of facilities including large art and product display areas, multiple live event spaces and large main stage, a film screening room (SKYY Cinema Lounge), a recording studio (due to be completed in December 2007), in-house food-preparation and catering facilities, and a full range of concierge service and amenities.” Take a tour through the space (while still under construction” in the behind the scenes movie below.
