I'm turning green

We’re planning a “green” event, I’m hiring a “green consultant” for our business, Blog Action Day is fast approaching and I’m building a house using green products. I do believe that I’m slowly but surely turning green. So, I’ve decided to challenge 5 of the people in my blogroll with the following question. What are you doing to introduce environmental sustainability into your daily life? I’m hoping that simple tips and tricks will inspire our readers to make little changes in their lives. Oh, and be sure to pass this question on to at least 3 people in your blogroll. Let’s see how far this can go.

Here are my top 3:
1. I buy locally grown fruits & vegetables – locally grown equals less gas and less emissions, not to mention tastes better and supports local farms.
2. I’ve switched my computer to energy saving mode – with this much blogging, the less energy I can use the better.
3. I’ve switched all of our lightbulbs to CFLs (compact fluorescent bulbs) – they use about 75% less energy than a standard light bulb and last about 10 times longer!
