Decadent, delightful, savory, rich, orgasmic, sophisticated. No, I’m not talking about David Beckham. Chocolate is the food of the Gods…and no one does it quite like Fritz Knipschildt.
Coined as the “Willy Wonka of Connecticut”, Danish-born Fritz Knipschildt delights the senses with quality artisan chocolates using classic techniques with a contemporary twist. He was bestowed the honor of being voted one of the top 3 chocolates in the world by Gourmet magazine. He was also the creator of the World’s Most Expensive Chocolate. At $2,600 USD per pound, you could purchase a hand made chocolate with 70 percent Valrhona cocoa powder rolled over French Black truffle.
His latest project has been Chocopologie, a cafe and retail store where guests can also enjoy a behind the scenes peak at how the gourmet chocolates are made.
